
Steve’s career in the financial services industry spans more than two decades,
beginning with a Citigroup affiliate in Oklahoma City in 1988. In 1989, in addition to
becoming an LPL Registered Representative, Steve earned both his FINRA Series 6 and
Series 63 Investment Representative securities registrations, held with LPL. In 1995, Steve
added the distinction of Series 26 Limited Registered Principal securities registration, held
with LPL. In the years that followed, Steve earned his Series 65 Uniform Investment Adviser
Law registration, held with Strategic Financial Concepts, and his Series 7 General Securities
Representative registration, held with LPL, as well as receiving the designation of Certified
Estate Planner® (CEP®) from the National Institute of Certified Estate Planners.
Steve has also earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation. Designees
learn the practices and the legal and best practice framework they are built upon. AIF®
designees have a reputation in the industry for the ability to implement a prudent process
into their own investment practices as well as being able to assist others in implementing
proper policies and procedures. In March of 2021, Steve earned his Certified Kingdom
Advisor® (CKA®) designation. Designees are trained in biblically wise financial advice for
clients who long for peace of mind and purpose in their financial dealings. Steve is also a
member of the National Association of Christian Financial Consultants, NACFC.
Today, Steve specializes in financial planning, estate planning, income planning, and
investment advisement. Steve brings a personalized holistic approach to his financial and
estate planning investment advice, taking into account not only each client’s present
position and mid- and long-range financial goals, but also their life goals. Once Steve is
confident he fully understands a client’s worldview, he presents them with practical,
specific strategies in easy to understand action steps.
Mr. Romano and his wife reside in Edmond, where they are actively involved in their
church and community. They have four children and five grandchildren. Mr. Romano enjoys
travel, kayaking, fitness, cross-country motorcycle riding, reading, ministry, and donating
time to nonprofits. His volunteer ministry has included working with programs for prisons
